KT to VZ

In less than 48 hours, I'll be on my way to Venezuela! We're flying out from Detroit on Wednesday at 4:30pm, arriving in Miami, FL that evening. We'll stay overnight in Miami, and head out to Caracas, Venezuela very early Thursday morning. Sometime on Thursday, we'll end up at our destination in the city of San Juan de los Morros.

Am I excited? Yes! Am I packed? No! I do have a pretty comprehensive packing list, however, which I plan to dig into tomorrow evening, and I'll finish up Wednesday morning before we leave. I think I have all of those last little details taken care of, which is great, but at the same time I feel like I must be forgetting something! The biggest challenge has been setting up plans to get things back here done while I'm gone, but my good friend Becca has awesomely agreed to help with zookeeping at home and sending some emails for me while I'm gone. :)

Speaking of that, I hear that we will have Internet available, but it sounds like my time on it will be quite limited. I will try and post updates about the trip on here, so keep watching this page. :)
